EXTERIOR BODY CONDITION: The gold paint is original. The gold finish has some minor abrasions from 36 years of occasional use . Jim thinks the original paint is nice enough to leave as it is.. This truck will easily trophy in the stock original "survivor" class.

The rocker panels are original and in exceptional condition. There is zero rust in the floor pans.

OPTIONS: Well optioned including 350 cid V8 Engine 255 HP four barrel carburetor, TH350 automatic transmission. Power steering, ammeter, and oil gauges. Factory rear step bumper. MECHANICAL: New dual exhaust with less than 100 miles. The transmission works correctly with precise and firm shifts. The power steering, and manual brakes operate as new. Dealer installed "working" cruise control. Every system on this truck operates correctly. |
RECENT MECHANICAL WORK: Jim detailed the engine. The valve covers have been repainted, and the gaskets have been replaced. The spark plug wires, and vacuum advance pot have been replaced. The vacuum hoses have been inspected and replaced as necessary. Jim disassembled and cleaned the carburetor, and replaced the gaskets and needle and seat. The hoses and belts are recent. Under the hood, the truck is 100% correct with no mechanical modifications. The battery is one year old, and the cables are original.

MISC: The jack and tools have never been touched! The jack handle is still in its original cloth bag. The G78-15 spare tire is the original, has never been used, and is mounted under the bed in the original location.

INTERIOR CONDITION: The upholstery fabric, and vinyl are in almost perfect condition. The trim level "custom" has a Western motif similar to the designs on horse saddles. Inside the glove compartment are documents from the original owner, the owners manual and dealer delivery paperwork. All dash instruments function correctly.

CONDITION OF THE BED: The wood floor in the bed is in very good original condition. There are a few minor abrasions on the body in the tail gate area. There are four very small dents in the gate, one on the bottom interior, and three on the top lip. There are no dents or corrosion in the interior bed walls, or wheel wells. Having no interior dents or rust, this bed could easily be repainted to look like new.
